Shri Devendra Sutaria was born in 1956 in a poor family in a small village of Sabarkantha district. He took his primary education in his village school. Despite hardship and poverty in life, he had a God gift of good talent and his academic career was bright throughout.
Despite a very successful and appreciated career in rural banking, his inner conscious was forcing him to search an answer as to how the life of poor can be improved. Though in bank he was fully involved in rural development activities, he observed that there was no visible improvement in the lives of poor villagers. With all this banking network and government machineries to implement various development projects, huge numbers of unreached poor were waiting for the help and they were on mercy of God. So he resorted to a spiritual study to find miracle solution to remove miseries of poor. He visited many saints and Gurus, did Sadhana Bhakti as suggested by Gurus, but to no avail.
In the year 1987, he came into contact with Rajyoga centre of Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University and did meditation as shown by them. In a short time he experienced a deep peace in his life. He started assimilating spiritual knowledge and the practice of Rajyoga meditation increased his willpower, confidence and courage to move ahead to attain his goal. And thus, he continued his efforts and contemplation towards his goal.
After taking voluntary retirement in April 2001, he started the office of Supath in his single-room residence. Gradually, there was good growth year after year and the organization achieved many milestone performances including recognition and awards from the government and other agencies.
